GCS is a locally owned and operated company located in St. Paul, MN.  The owner, Brent Gallivan, has been around construction for many years. Growing up with two uncles and a grandfather who were master carpenters gave great influence in his interest in construction. He joined the Carpenter's Union and went through the required apprenticeship program and became a journeyman carpenter. He has worked in both the residential and commercial side of construction. He recently was a carpenter foreman for seven years when the construction market began to decline. He knew that he needed to make a change before he was out of a job. He was approached by a now satisfied customer to build a deck with a screen porch. Brent knew this was the opportunity he needed to start his own business and he hasn't looked back. Gallivan Construction Services LLC focuses it's attention on the residential customer service needs.
